An International Conference for the Study of Poliorcetics, Military Historiography and the Archaeology of Battlefields”

The conference is an international gathering for researchers to present and discuss recent studies in the historiography and archaeology of siege warfare, battlefields and military architecture from the Classical Period (5th century BCE) until the Middle Ages (15thcentury CE). Such a span of time will make possible a fruitful discussion of the continuous narrative of poliorcetics.
Date limite : 31 juillet 2016
Langues :
– English will be the principal language of the conference, but presentations may also be
delivered in French, Italian, German or Spanish.
