Call for papers- Researching the Middle East: Fieldwork, Archives, Issues, and Ethics

Exeter University’s Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies will be holding a conference on 8-9 June 2015 examining the various dimensions of conducting research on, and in the Middle East, from fieldwork and archives to issues and ethics. A key aim of the conference is to produce an edited volume on the subject to facilitate the work of academics working in this complex field.
We invite submissions from all researchers wishing to share their experiences of working on and in the region for the benefit of current and future researchers. We strongly encourage postgraduates and recent PhD graduates to apply.

Deadline for the submissions is 16 April 2015.
